The author gives us some alternatives before we blow up or break down when working for bad bosses. I really enjoyed this article because everyone sometimes works with “difficult” workmates or bosses. Some of the advices are not to act immediately, play the game and maintain a can-do-attitude, be prepared focusing on activities that position you to lead and produce measurable results, forge alliances, focus on gaining experience, building your interpersonal skills and policing your attitude. Being open to criticisms and suggestions is really appreciate and the most important advice is never become like your jerk boss.

I think the best way to handle a bad boss is do not “lost the control”, avoiding to act immediately and keeping the focus on the job activities. At the beginning it seems to be difficult to police your own attitudes but with time this behavior will be a habit. However, if the situation becomes terrible, the best way is to look for other job.
